Can A Cat Survive Without Vaccinations?

2006: the first release!

2006: THE FIRST EXIT
After having published the two outputs so far in 2009, we begin to go back in time ... Precisely at September 22, 2006, in that of
MACUGNAGA!

MACUGNAGA ... La Perla del Rosa. So reads the welcome sign at the place of Borca (small village just Macugnaga!), And well to understand that we are, once you arrive in country, in an incredible spectacle of nature: the East Face of Monte Rosa.
Already, the first release was made right there, where so many important names of Italian and world have left their mark!
Our goal is to reach Pecetto (departure of the chair, closed on that day) Bivouac at least Belloni, to 2510 meters. Then on, we leave, the hours are 08:00 and Rosa is waiting for us!

Once at the Belvedere (terminal station of the chairlift), there imcamminiamo and we cross the glacier, here covered with stones and then traveled safely, starting to walk a long valley that will lead us then to the bivouac.

This picture is still recovering from the Belvedere glacier in the background, in a central location, you can see the glacier Castelfranco, named by the tower.

Here in the valley ... The landscape starts and be even more impressive, the east wall is getting closer!

begin to gain altitude ... In two hours we got up to 700 meters, we are now at about 2100 meters above sea level!

the east wall approaches again ...

Before reaching the bivouac Belloni, since they are only 11:00, we decided to go a little '... So here is the decision to approach the glacier Casterlfranco This year the snow has been poor this season winter and hot in September allows us to do everything!

a brief passage near the river that drains water literally frozen!

Stepping up: we have just left the junction leading to Belloni ...

Stefano, now it's time to eat: The last piece was tiring, we had to climb using your hands, now, even having the time, the sandwich must be swallowed! But first a look at this spectacle of nature: the Tower of Castelfranco and the glacier. We are about 2650 meters high.

Here's the latest photos, rightly devoted to the Bivouac Belloni: Here we go alone, but never recorded on the book of CAI our adventure.

The trip there and back took about 7h 30, the starting level was 1390 meters (Pecetto), and the arrival of Calstelfranco under the glacier, at 2650 meters. E 'was hard, but not binding. Chair lifts were open, we'd probably bet on the saddle. But it will be for next time!

Decorating Ideas For Log Canopy Bed

Grignone on 03/06/2009

THE BLOG IS TAKING SHAPE, STARTS TO BE NICE ... THEN, say it is' TIME YOU START TO APPLY FOR TRAVEL ON 3 JUNE ...
Grignon LECCO!!

Departure from Varese to 06.00 or so, with half Cainallo (above Varenna-Esino). After two long hours driving, we are arriving in this remote village, where he begins a fantastic adventure!!

We start from the top, which makes it a good idea of \u200b\u200bwhere we ended up ... None other than ... Over two feet of snow, and we are on June 3!!

But now proceed in order: here we are at about an hour's walk, and we are reaching a pasture near the Rif Bogani, now closed since the summer has not yet started ... But there ... there are patches of snow. Stephen who say we did well to bring crampons??
MMMHHHH .... I think so ... Look at that, at an altitude of 1800 is already a lot of snow! And you go, that we begin to attach crampons to boots !!!!!!!!!
Brioschi Here we are at 2410 meters! We arrive after about 2:45 a.m., although the last half hour was exhausting .... All the snow, with slopes of all respect!!

Stefano, remember? Grignetta! Here we faced a great railway, the Direttissima, and has been a wonderful experience!
For those who are skeptical and believe not, let the pictures speak ... This is the climb that we had to face, not without difficulty, but without major problems.

Here to Rif Brioschi, just arrived! Come on, we expect the bicchierotto polenta with a nice red!

In short, it was a beautiful walk. Here are facts:

Disla. 980 m; time: 5h30 '; equipment, boots, crampons.

This was the first walk of 2009, as the start was not bad at all.

One of our "companion" travel ...:!!!!

's arrival at the bivouac, the view that you can see is this ...

If we had forces and time to move on, we had to cross this snow field to tackle a via ferrata ... The next time we come!

Better think about the return ... and the crossing of this snowfield!!

What say goodbye camp in Varese, and the next one! With the honor of being the second "climbers" (if it can be defined!) To get there in 2009. Ciaoooooo!

in this camp there are comfortable couches and warm blankets for a nap before setting of 4 hours necessary to return to the dam, the starting point

start the blog with the walk in the valley Antrona (Vb).
Wake up at 6.00 (better than those for the railway ..).
car parking Cheggio 9.00. Alt 1500 mts. Dam .....?
Walking between streams, rivers, snow, more or less hard, some sudden sinking to the knees or longer. Arrival at the camp in Varese alt 2650 meters at 13.00. It starts to rain with hail also, thank goodness we can repair. Last fairly steep section should also use your hands to climb but no problem.

Smettedi rain, the sun reappears, another 4 hours to return the car.
Tired but happy, relaxed and you are designing the next.
Hasta pronto!
